Teaching Assistant

Contract and Compensation
  • Nature of

    Contract:

    Permanent, term time only, 38 weeks per year
  • FTE Salary: B3, SCP 7 - 11, £26,403 to £28,142 per annum, pro rata
  • Actual Salary: £19,458- £20,740, based on 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
  • Working Hours:

    Part time, 32.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
  • Work under the instructions and guidance of teaching and senior staff to carry out learning, care and support programmes to enable access to learning for students
  • Undertake work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area on a 1-1 or small group basis
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans, Individual Behaviour Plans and Pupil Passports
