About the role:
justteachers are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who can deliver high‑quality Maths teaching and make an immediate impact on pupil progress.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum requirements
- Use effective behaviour‑management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
- Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and intervention where needed
- Contribute to departmental planning, meetings and whole‑school initiatives
- Support pupils of varying abilities, ensuring inclusive and accessible learning
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3/KS4 essential)
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
- Ability to start immediately and commit until the end of the academic year
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Two school based references
