Randstad Education is currently seeking passionate, adaptable Supply Primary Teaching Assistants for daily, short-term, and long-term placements in schools throughout Leeds. Whether you are looking for full-time hours or just a couple of days a week, we have opportunities to suit you.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Essential UK
Experience:
You must have recent, verifiable experience working within a UK primary school classroom or childcare setting, demonstrating an understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
Childcare Qualification (Desirable): A relevant CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent) is highly advantageous, though experienced individuals are welcome to apply.
Safeguarding Compliance: A valid, enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for a new one through Randstad).
Core
Skills:
Strong communication skills, excellent behaviour management, and a proactive attitude toward supporting both classroom teachers and diverse pupils.
