Key Worker and Employer Liaison
35 hours per week
Initially Funded to 31 March 2027 with Potential for up to 5 Years
Please note that this is a face-to-face role
We are looking for a Key Worker and Employer Liaison to support people who are unemployed or economically inactive, particularly those with disabilities, long term health conditions, and complex barriers, into sustainable employment through evidence-based supported employment models. The programme supports both job seekers and employers, focusing mainly on unemployed residents, with some support for those at risk of losing their jobs.
Theideal candidate will be able to:
- Build positive, supportive relationships with unemployed or economically inactive participants who are experiencing long-term health conditions and complex barriers to work and/or are young people not in education, employment, or training (NEET).
- Engage with and develop relationships with employers to create sustainable employment opportunities, acting as a liaison and workplace mentor where appropriate.
- 25 days annual leave (pro-rata for part-time posts) [increasing according to length of service up to a maximum of 32] + statutory bank holidays
- Birthday day off (pro-rata for part-time posts)
