• Educational Psychology
• Teaching (Primary, Secondary or SEN)
• Therapy roles (Speech & Language, Occupational Therapy, etc.)
• Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, SEMH, and communication difficulties
• Work closely with teachers and specialist staff to deliver tailored support
• Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to support their development and wellbeing

• A recent graduate in Education, Psychology or a related subject
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people with additional needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, patient, and resilient approach

Experience is beneficial but not essential - your attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn are what matter most.

• Hands-on experience in a supportive SEN setting
• Ongoing training and professional development
• Exposure to specialist strategies and interventions (e.g. behaviour support, communication methods)
• A fantastic foundation for further study or teacher training
