About the role:
justteachers are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Leeds from September through to Christmas, with the strong potential for extension.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire a love of History and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons
- Assessing, tracking and reporting on student progress
- Creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with a committed humanities department
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK‑recognised teaching qualification
- An enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one
- Experience teaching History at secondary level
- Ability to commit from September until Christmas
- Two school based references
