Primary Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Primary Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming primary school settings in the LS11 area of Leeds from September 2026
. This full‑time role is offered on an ongoing basis and pays £95–£105 per day
, depending on experience. The role is broad and varied, supporting learning across the classroom, with a key requirement that candidates are comfortable supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs

• Support pupils across the classroom in lessons and learning activities.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND and SEMH needs, including 1:1 and small‑group work.
• Assist the class teacher with preparation of resources and classroom routines.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation throughout the school day.

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in a school setting.
• Confidence and willingness to support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.
• A calm, patient, and flexible approach to behaviour and learning support.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
