Teaching Assistant - Nursery

Medway NJC D2 4-11 (dependent on experience) – £17,786 - 19,874 pa (£25,185 - £28,142 FTE)

Hours:

31.25 hours per week, Term time only (Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.15pm)

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Have experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Be passionate and enthusiastic about supporting children’s development
  • Develop strong relationships with children, staff and other stakeholders
  • Have the ability to motivate and inspire children throughout their learning journey
  • Be able to use specialist skills/training/experience to support children’s needs
  • Be committed to the school's high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care
  • Have strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Have a belief in inclusion, diversity and the right of each child to be successful whatever their needs, abilities and background
