We are recruiting for a Trainee Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive specialist school in Boston Spa, Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while completing a fully funded Level 3 CACHE Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.

As a Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced staff to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.

• Supporting pupils on a one‑to‑one basis and in small groups
• Working with children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties
• Encouraging confidence, independence, communication, and emotional regulation
• Supporting learning across literacy, numeracy, and intervention sessions
• Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and learning resources
• Promoting positive behaviour and inclusive learning
• Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
