Teacher Active is proud to be working with a small independent nursery in LS19 that is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a permanent, part-time basis. This family-feel nursery provides a warm, nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years, encouraging curiosity through outdoor play, imaginative learning and a love of storytelling.

The nursery is looking for a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join their friendly team with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children's learning and development across the nursery, helping to deliver engaging activities, maintain a safe and stimulating environment, and build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a nursery or early years setting
Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning through outdoor play and storytelling
