Full‑time Individual Needs Assistant (INA), 8.45 am‑3.15 pm, 30 hours per week, term‑time only with MDSA duties. Fixed term until 31 March 2027.
Start date:
1 September 2026.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, supportive team player to work in either Key Stage 1 or 2. The INA will be capable of offering high‑quality input and support with individuals and small groups. You will need a wide variety of skills and a lot of energy.
The successful candidate will:
- Be highly motivated, creative and flexible
- Have experience working with pupils with additional needs/neurodivergence
- Experience in managing behaviour effectively and calmly
- Be inspirational, very well organised with a positive ‘can‑do’ attitude
- View working with children as a vocation and love their work
- Be a team player with good interpersonal skills
- Be sympathetic and supportive of the Christian ethos (even if not a practising Christian)
- Be an excellent role model to children, colleagues and parents, exemplifying our core values of love and respect
- Have high expectations of behaviour and achievement for all children
- Experience of Makaton would be desirable
