Location: Leeds (commutable from Wakefield, Bradford, Pudsey, Morley & surrounding areas)
Pay: 108 - £114.33 per day
Job Type: Full-time, Term-Time Only
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

We're recruiting a Youth Re-engagement Support Worker for a specialist Alternative Provision (AP) in Leeds, supporting students aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
, challenging behaviour, trauma, and additional learning needs.

The Role - Youth Re-engagement Support WorkerAs a Youth Re-engagement Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping students reconnect with education and reach their potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Building positive, trusting relationships with vulnerable young people
- Supporting students with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, ADHD, Autism, and trauma-related needs
- Encouraging engagement with learning through consistent support and mentoring
- Using restorative and trauma-informed approaches to manage behaviour positively
- Supporting emotional regulation and resilience
- Working collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams, therapists, and external professionals
- Creating a calm, safe, and structured learning environment where every student can succeed
