We're recruiting an Early Years SEND Teacher for a specialist school in North west Leeds, supporting young learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC),
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
, and complex learning difficulties.

What You'll Be DoingAs an Early Years SEND Teacher
, you'll create a safe, nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive at their own pace.
- Planning and delivering engaging, child-centred EYFS lessons tailored to individual needs
- Supporting children with Autism (ASC), SEMH, communication difficulties, sensory needs, and complex SEND
- Using play-based and therapeutic approaches to encourage learning, confidence, and independence
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and their families
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and a wider multidisciplinary team
- Celebrating progress in all its forms – from first words and social interactions to academic achievements
