About The Role
Leeds City College are seeking a Teacher of Travel and Aviation to join us at our Printworks campus! Due to internal progression, the continued growth of our learner numbers, and the expansion of the department, we are seeking a passionate travel and aviation professional to join our team. As our school continues to grow, we are looking for a full‑time team member who can inspire and support the next generation of travel and aviation professionals.
We welcome applications from both qualified and non‑qualified teachers. Full training and support will be provided as part of the role.
Interviews will be taking on W/C 17th August 2026.
What You Will Do- Deliver engaging lessons across Level 1 to Level 3 travel and tourism courses.
- Share your real‑world industry experience to bring learning to life.
- Support learners to develop practical skills and confidence for careers in travel, tourism and aviation.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Inspire and motivate young people to explore opportunities in the travel and tourism sector.
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content reflects current industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners to enhance the learning experience.
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team and help inspire the next generation of travel and aviation professionals. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong industry experience and is motivated to share their expertise with learners.
We Are Particularly Interested In Candidates Who Have- Previous industry experience in travel and/or aviation.
- Experience working within a travel agency, tour operator, or in roles such as overseas representative, tour guide, cabin crew, cruise operations, tour operator sales representative or airport operations (including both terminal and ground operations).
- Experience with in the hospitality sector would also be welcomed.
- A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring and developing young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Annual leave: 44 days plus bank holidays for curriculum and management; 39 days plus bank holidays for curriculum‑support and business‑support staff.
