Psychology Student - Primary and SEND schools

Location: Leeds

Type: Flexible

Working Hours: 08:30am - 15:30pm.

Salary: £90- £95 per day

Are you a current Psychology Student looking to gain experience that is relevant to future career aspirations? Whether you aspire to become an Educational Psychologist, Therapist, or Teacher, working as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in a school is the perfect foundation to develop your skills and gain invaluable experience.

Your Role as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

As an LSA, you will provide critical support to both students and teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include:

Tailored Support:
Assisting in the delivery of personalised teaching, working with students individually or in small groups.

Engaging Sensory Work:
Supporting pupils in sensory activities that promote engagement and development.

Resource Preparation:
Helping to prepare resources and materials that enhance learning experiences.

Feedback and Communication:
Providing insightful feedback to teachers and parents about student progress and engagement.

Specialist Support:
Working closely with pupils who have Autism, Severe Learning difficulties, and other complex needs, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth.
