Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Acting & Movement Techniques Lecturer to join the team delivering our BA (Hons) Acting degree at University Centre Leeds. As part of the Creative Arts team, you will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Higher Education acting programmes, drawing on expertise in actor-training methodologies including Stanislavski, Meisner, Chekhov, Laban, Lecoq, Viewpoints, animal studies, and physical theatre.
The role involves planning inclusive learning experiences, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, monitoring progress, and supporting students' personal and professional development. You will also contribute to curriculum development, maintain strong industry links to ensure teaching reflects current professional practice, and prepare students for further study and successful careers in the performing arts.
