Overview
Up to 15 hours per week term time. The School of Popular Music & Voice wishes to appoint Part Time Lecturers across the BA Voice and BA Popular Music to deliver voice teaching and assessing, and undertake related work on relevant modules. We are seeking Vocal Practitioners who can deliver 1-1 vocal tuition to a high standard, with excellent technical knowledge, performance experience and artistic insight.
Responsibilities- Deliver 1-1 vocal tuition to a high standard.
- Assess student work and contribute to relevant module activities.
- Undertake other duties associated with the relevant modules; these may fall outside term-time weeks.
- Excellent technical knowledge, performance experience and artistic insight.
- Background across a range of genres; applications welcomed from voice professionals with expertise in Popular Music and/or Musical Theatre repertoire.
The teaching term follows the Conservatoire’s Undergraduate Music Academic Calendar. The start date for teaching is w/c 21 September 2026, with planning and preparation before this date. The total number of working hours depends on the candidate s music and repertoire specialism(s) and on student enrolment.
