This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in Speech and Language Therapy, Linguistics, Communication Studies, Psychology, Childhood Studies, or related fields to gain valuable experience supporting children in a school environment.

As a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN)
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to develop communication skills
- Deliver targeted activities and interventions under the guidance of teachers and SENCOs
- Help children develop confidence in speaking, listening, and social interaction
- Support pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties
- Use creative strategies, games, and activities to encourage engagement and learning
- Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
- Create a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels supported
Your skills and experience can make a huge difference in schools through your understanding of:
- Communication development and language acquisition

- A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
No formal Teaching Assistant qualification is required — we’re looking for the right attitude, passion, and transferable skills.
