Teacher Assistant/ Paraprofessional, Elementary School
Are you aYear 3 Teacher looking to join primary schools across Leeds. These roles are suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to develop their practice within supportive Key Stage 2 settings.
You will take full responsibility for classes, delivering engaging and well‑structured lessons that support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally during their transition into KS2.
Classroom & School Support- Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant working alongside you
- Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support where required
- Supportive and collaborative KS2 and senior leadership team
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑structured learning environment
- Differentiate learning to support pupils with SEN and additional needs
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and a love of learning
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Contribute to reports, assessments, and parent communication
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply
- Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3 desirable)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN is beneficial
- Strong classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
