Cover Supervisors & Teaching Assistants Needed – Leeds

Location: Leeds and surrounding areas
Pay: £95–£130 per day (depending on role and experience)
Contract: Flexible, Part-time, Full-time, Day-to-Day and Long-Term Opportunities
Start Date: Immediate and Ongoing

We're supporting a range of welcoming primary, secondary and SEND schools across Leeds who are looking for reliable, enthusiastic support staff to join their teams.

What could your day look like?

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons when teachers are absent
  • Keep pupils engaged and learning
  • Manage classroom behaviour with confidence and consistency
  • Build positive relationships across different schools and year groups

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll:

  • Support pupils in the classroom, both individually and in small groups
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers to support learning and development
  • Provide additional support for pupils with SEND where required
We're looking for people who:
  • Have experience working with children or young people
  • Are confident, adaptable and approachable
  • Can build positive relationships quickly
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Are passionate about making a difference in education

Experience in schools is great, but it's not always essential. If you've worked in youth work, coaching, care, mentoring, tutoring or similar roles, we'd love to chat.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
