Randstad Education is seeking compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) support within Key Stage 2 classrooms across Leeds.
Key RequirementsEssential UK
Experience:
Direct experience within a UK primary school setting supporting KS2 children with SEND (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or physical needs).EHCP Delivery: Capability to carry out individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and adapt upper KS2 tasks to suit individual learning speeds.
Safeguarding & Clearances: An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete a new check through Randstad).
Specialist
Skills:
Outstanding de-escalation techniques, emotional resilience, strong observational skills, and a supportive approach.
