New Directions Education is currently supporting a wide range of schools and specialist provisions across Leeds, and we’re looking for enthusiastic ECTs to join our growing team. We have opportunities available across Primary, Secondary, SEN, and SEMH settings
, offering flexible routes into teaching and the chance to build your confidence in a variety of educational environments.
Whether you’re seeking a long-term role to complete your induction, short-term supply work to broaden your experience, or a combination of both, we can help you find the right opportunity.
Opportunities Available Primary Schools- EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 roles
- Day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements
- Opportunities to experience a variety of school environments
- Positions available across a range of subject specialisms
- Flexible supply work and longer-term teaching roles
- Excellent opportunities to develop classroom management skills
- Support learners with additional needs and barriers to learning
- Gain specialist experience working within inclusive and alternative settings
- Develop valuable skills in behaviour management, differentiation, and SEND practice

What We’re Looking ForWe are keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is due to achieve QTS.
- A passion for teaching and supporting young people.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, adaptable, and professional attitude.
- A willingness to embrace new challenges and learning opportunities.
No extensive teaching experience is required—we’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are ready to start their teaching journey.
