SEND Teacher

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £120 - 170 per day

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a SEND provision based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher. The provision supports children and young people with a range of additional needs and is looking for a dedicated and compassionate teacher who can provide engaging and accessible learning.

The provision is looking for a SEND Teacher for day-to-day or long-term roles from September, working with pupils across multiple Key Stages. The successful SEND Teacher will support pupils with Autism / ASD, Severe Learning Difficulties / SLD, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties / PMLD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs, adapting teaching to meet individual learning requirements.

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching children and young people with additional needs
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD, SLD, PMLD and/or SEMH needs
• Experience working across multiple Key Stages
• The ability to adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
• A patient, resilient and flexible approach
