Behaviour Support Worker

Academics are currently recruiting for an experienced behaviour support worker for a 2 form entry East Leeds primary school. This position is to commence iafter October half term ideally until the end of the academic year. This school has a strong emphasis on behaviour management, and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability of implementing effective behaviour management strategies.

You will be required to work throughout school offering 1 to 1 support to pupils who may need additional support within the classroom. Due to the highly specialist nature of this behaviour support worker role, candidates must have previous behaviour support experience. You will be incredibly flexible, adjusting your level of support to meet the requirements of each individual student, whilst allowing each child the opportunity to enhance their independence and grow their individuality.

It is essential that you are a nurturing and attentive individual with an incredible amount of emotional intelligence, to ensure effective support strategies are implemented at a suitable time.
