Learning & Training Lead

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead workforce development across GIPSIL as we continue to strengthen how we support, develop and learn together.

As Learning and Training Lead, you will be responsible for the strategic development of learning, training and workforce capability across GIPSIL. You will ensure staff have access to high-quality learning opportunities
, maintain oversight of training compliance and organisational readiness, and help create a culture of continuous learning and improvement
.

Working closely with senior leaders, managers and partners, you will develop workforce development plans, oversee learning systems and reporting, strengthen internal training capacity, and ensure learning and development activity delivers meaningful impact for staff, services and the people we support.

You will also play a key role in developing innovative approaches to organisational learning and exploring opportunities to expand GIPSIL's reputation, influence and external training offer.

• Lead the development and delivery of GIPSIL's workforce development strategy and annual learning plans.
• Provide organisational oversight of mandatory and compliance-related training, reporting on performance, risks and improvements.
• Lead the design, commissioning, delivery and evaluation of learning and development programmes.
• Develop internal training capacity and support organisational learning through the development GIPSIL’s continuous development an progression pathways.
• Oversee learning systems, workforce development reporting and training compliance data.
• Develop and evaluate digital, blended and face-to-face learning approaches.
• Build effective relationships with training providers, sector partners and other stakeholders.
• Contribute workforce development expertise to organisational projects, service development and partnership opportunities.

• You will bring experience of leading workforce development, learning and development, organisational learning or training programmes, alongside the ability to influence colleagues, analyse information, drive improvement and deliver meaningful outcomes.
