This midday care assistant post sits within Hob Moor Oaks Academy, part of Ebor Academy Trust. The core of the work is supervising pupils through lunch, from readying them for their meal and helping them reach suitable food to giving personal care. The role also covers supervising play in indoor and outdoor areas, and exact hours are yet to be confirmed.
Candidates need to work with pupils across a range of special educational needs, and appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
- Prepare children for their lunch meal
- Help children access a suitable meal
- Provide personal care to children during the lunch break
- Ensure children's safety and well-being during the lunch break
- Supervise children in indoor and outdoor play areas
- Work closely with the wider team
