Based within one of our Formal Teaching classes, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the futures of learners from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4 following the primary curriculum.

Our students present with a range of needs—including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and various communication and interaction needs. We are seeking talented, compassionate, and dedicated individuals who share our ambitious vision for the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and motivate students to maximize participation in school life and achieve their best outcomes from their unique starting points.
  • Create an effective, stimulating, and well-organised learning environment.
  • Devise, contribute to, and implement statutory assessments, EHCP reviews, and annual review meetings.
  • Provide strong pastoral care and effective behaviour management within the classroom.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, external agencies, and multi-disciplinary professionals to support physical, social, and academic needs.
  • Utilise ICT effectively to enhance teaching standards and engage students across the age range (ages 4‑16).
Safeguarding & Culture
  • Maintain vigilance regarding safeguarding and child protection, reporting concerns directly to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
  • Promote an inclusive environment that challenges students, builds self-esteem, and respects individual needs.
  • Model the Ways of Being Co‑op and actively contribute to the overall ethos, values, and guiding principles of the Trust.
Professional Expectations
  • Put students first and prioritise their safety and well‑being at all times.
  • Act as a role model for professional standards, participating in team briefings, planning sessions, and supervision duties.
  • Engage proactively in professional development opportunities and contribute to a positive safety culture.
