Are you an experienced environmental consultant looking to make a significant impact? Our experts design critical infrastructure and urban environments that shape modern life. As a Senior/Principal Environmental Consultant at Arup, you will have the chance to lead and contribute to projects that genuinely make a real difference. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our projects, ensuring they are not only successful but also sustainable.

You will have the opportunity to work across multiple sectors, but with a particular focus on the transport sector, working on and leading projects across all modes of transport, with a particular focus on sustainable transport modes and integrated transport systems.

Main

Activities:

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and design and driving the right solutions to environmental challenges.
• Leading the preparation and coordination of EIA reports, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and client expectations but also elevating their value to identify and value enhancements as well as appropriate mitigation.
• Building relationships with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Providing expert advice on environmental policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Monitoring and reporting on the implementation of environmental management plans and compliance with EIA conditions.

• • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Full membership of an appropriate institute (e.g. Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) or equivalent).
• Professional experience in environmental consulting.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects in the transport sector.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices. Experience of the Transport and Works Act consenting regime is desirable but not essential.
