A respected, employee-owned consultancy is seeking a Town Planner, Senior Town Planner or Principal Town Planner to join its established planning team. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for a motivated Town Planner looking to work across a wide range of projects including renewable energy, waste, minerals, and commercial developments.

As a Town Planner in this role, you'll be involved in both strategic and immediate development schemes, managing all aspects of the planning process - from initial policy appraisal through to application submission and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and prepare planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)

· Undertake site appraisals and provide strategic advice to clients

· Manage stakeholder relationships including local authorities and communities

· Oversee sub-consultants and support a multi-disciplinary project team

· Deliver expert planning consultancy services across multiple sectors

Candidate Profile:

· RTPI Chartered (or working towards) with a planning-related degree/Masters

· Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and procedures

· Previous experience within energy, waste, minerals, or commercial sectors is beneficial

· Excellent communication and project management skills
