With a strong pipeline of development projects and continued team growth, an expanding engineering consultancy in Leeds is looking to add a Civil Engineer to its infrastructure team. This hire comes at an exciting time for the business, offering the chance to play a hands-on role in delivering drainage and infrastructure schemes across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.

The role will involve supporting projects from early-stage concept design through to detailed design and statutory approvals. It’s a great opportunity for an engineer working towards Chartership who is eager to further develop their technical expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of drainage strategies and detailed designs using Info Drainage.
Infrastructure and earthworks design using Civil 3D.
Design and implementation of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in accordance with current regulations and best practice.
Production of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and drainage statements.
Coordination with internal disciplines, local authorities and external stakeholders.
Providing support to junior team members and contributing to high technical standards across projects.

Candidate Requirements

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience in drainage and infrastructure design.
Proficiency in Info Drainage and Civil 3D.
Strong understanding of SuDS principles and flood risk policy.
Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments.
Ideally working towards Chartership (ICE or similar) with a structured development plan.
Strong communication skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
