We are recruiting for a well-established outfit who specialises in the Ventilation / Fire Damper services. They are seeking a hardworking Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer, with proven industry experience and a diverse skillset. You will be inspecting and testing fire dampers, ventilation and ductwork systems to perform cleans and servicing to ensure full compliance and functionality. Experience /

Qualifications:

- Strong hands-on experience working as a Fire Damper / Ventilation Engineer

- Will hold the Fire Damper Testing ticket as a minimum

- Strong technical knowledge of TR19 and BS9999 guidelines

- Flexible to travel in line with company needs

- Good literacy and numeracy skill level

- Comfortable using IT software to complete reports

The Role:

- Inspecting and testing of fire dampers to ensure compliance and full functionality

- Surveying ductwork, ventilation and extract systems to identify any potential issues

- Logging of existing fire dampers

- Cleaning of ductwork and ventilation system

- Fitting of access panels

- Taking pre and post work photographs and completing detailed service reports

- Keeping accurate records of works undertaken

- Providing advice on any required works

- Ensuring works are completed within agreed deadlines and to high standards
