Service Engineer

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading, compressed air supplier.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, fault finding of compressed air equipment, including compressors, vacuum pumps, desiccant dryers, chillers, compressed air filtration, nitrogen generators and associated compressor equipment at customer sites across Yorkshire.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer must have prior experience servicing compressed air systems.

• To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air products, systems and solutions at customer sites across Yorkshire.
• The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, commissioning, diagnostics, fault finding of various compressed air and compressor filtration systems.
• Maintain, repair, install, validation & testing of compressed air equipment, including compressors, vacuum pumps, desiccant dryers, chillers, compressed air filtration, nitrogen generators and associated products.
• Identifying and providing the customer with compressed air improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare of compressed air products.
• Fully remote covering Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.
• Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical and mechanical engineering equipment associated with compressed air.
• Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer or similar within the compressed air sector.
• The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new compressed air customers.
• Good working knowledge of servicing compressed air systems, including compressors, vacuum pumps, desiccant dryers, chillers, compressed air filtration, nitrogen generators or similar.
• Technical mechanical/electrical, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
• Part of the on-call rota, 1 week in 9.
• Fully remote, willingness to travel across Yorkshire and commute to Leeds for parts collection and training.
