Alecto Recruitment is partnered with a market leader in the Power Generation sector, and together we are searching for an EC&I Technician to be carry out maintenance on the Electrical, Control and instrumentation equipment at their Biomass plant in Norfolk.

• Fault finding, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, and level), and ABB control systems
• Calibration and loop checking of instrumentation associated with the site's DCS and control systems
• Programming, maintenance, and support of the site's DCS and PLC systems
• Maintenance of Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS)
• Supporting the development and implementation of plant modifications and improvement projects
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date maintenance records using the site CMMS
• Supervising and coordinating on-site contractors when required
• Ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements at all times

• A recognised Electrical or C&I engineering apprenticeship, preferably within a heavy process or industrial environment
• An HNC/ONC (or equivalent) in Electrical or Control & Instrumentation Engineering
• Strong knowledge and understanding of maintenance strategies for electrical and control systems
• IOSH or NEBOSH certification (desirable)

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Familiar with a number of computer applications.
• Good people skills, initiative-taking, flexible and committed attitude.
