Revit Technician​/BIM Technician; MEP

We're working with a well-established building services consultancy that’s continuing to grow its Electrical Design team in Manchester. Due to a sustained project pipeline, they’re looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Designer to lead complex design work.

Salary:£35,000 - £45,000 (depending on the experience)

Employment type:Permanent, Full-time

You’ll sit at the heart of the MEP design team, supporting mechanical and electrical engineers by producing accurate, coordinated Revit models and technical information.

• Producing and developing MEP models in Revit across multiple project stages
• Coordinating services layouts with internal teams and external consultants
• Supporting BIM standards, model management and data accuracy
• Assisting with clash detection and resolving coordination issues
• Contributing to drawing packages for design and construction phases

• Proven experience using Revit for building services (MEP) projects
• A good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical services layouts
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other disciplines
• Strong attention to detail and pride in well-structured models
• Previous consultancy or contractor design office experience preferred

• Design quality genuinely matters here; models are used as a design tool, not just a box-ticking exercise
• You’ll work closely with engineers who value technician input and collaboration
