Senior Procurement Consultant – Turner & Townsend

Join our growing Contract Services team in our UK offices. Due to increased workload and securing new clients across Public & Private sectors, we have new opportunities for Senior Procurement Consultants.

• Work on large‑scale projects across the UK.
• Deliver strategic procurement advice and end‑to‑end procurement services for major projects or programmes.
• Support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s service proposition.
• Collaborate with a team on bid preparation, proposal documentation and support achievement of business targets.

• Experience of leading and/or supporting projects in a strategic procurement environment.
• Strong background in tender preparation and development of relevant documents.
• Experience in supplier engagement activities from market engagement to contract award.
• Cross‑sector experience with Public/Utilities Contract Regulations or equivalent.
• Experience with standard form contracts such as NEC and JCT.
• Working towards or holding MCIP accreditation.
• Preferably a degree in construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.
• Experience in Defence, Utilities, or Infrastructure sectors.
• Valid Security Clearance (SC).

• Develop procurement strategy within a project or programme context.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Understanding of commercial principles and modelling.
• Deliver strategy and documentation in a capital project or programme environment.

• Adaptable and takes responsibility to succeed the right way.
• Confident, independent, works autonomously.
• Manage multiple activities and stakeholders.
• Collaborate to achieve desired outcomes.
