This Design Engineer role is a permanent position and is suited to someone with a couple of years' mechanical design experience who enjoys producing detailed drawings and supporting the delivery of engineered machinery solutions.

• 2D CAD / Drafting:
  As a Design Engineer, you will produce accurate 2D CAD drawings and detailed manufacturing documentation.
• Turning Designs into Manufacturing Drawings:
  Convert design concepts into clear, practical manufacturing drawings.
• Detailing:
  Ensure all drawings are fully detailed, dimensioned, and suitable for manufacture.
• 3D CAD Support (Advantageous):
  Support 3D CAD design activities where required; experience with 3D CAD software would be beneficial for this Design Engineer position.

• A couple of years' experience in a mechanical Design Engineer role or relevant mechanical design experience.
• Strong 2D CAD drafting skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing drawings.
• Exposure to 3D CAD software is an advantage but not essential.
• High attention to detail and a practical, manufacturing-focused mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams.
