Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Cheshire based systems integrator as they’re looking to add an experienced Project Manager with first class communication skills and a proven track record in delivering automation and control software projects to their impressive team.
Responsibilities- Successful, proven track record of delivering projects within automation, software and systems engineering, ideally from the supplier side.
- Understand, review and communicate stakeholder requirements, while being capable of managing the customer, the engineering teams and the project scope in a fast-paced environment.
- Be commercially and technically responsible for the delivery of control systems to end customers; a technical appreciation of control systems to enable effective communication and management.
- Operate within a strong “people first” culture, with expectations of regular reviews and personal development plans; contribute to internal communities to drive change.
- Establish resource needs during each stage of the project; engage with engineering teams to ensure proper resources, schedule and assign project tasks.
- Operate primarily in the process sector with ongoing control system project work in utilities, process, manufacturing and nuclear.
- Monitor and control stage payments and costs within contract obligations and budget limits.
- Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals.
- Follow up the project during installation and commissioning stages.
- Role will be office based with occasional site trips; the office is well connected to public transport and is a modern environment.
- Ideally have a recognised Project Management qualification (APM or PRINCE2).
- Successful Project Manager will be able to work in the UK without sponsorship and have a full UK driving licence.
