This role offers a strong mix of site and office-based work, with the chance to contribute to a wide range of infrastructure, residential, and commercial projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising and managing ground investigation projects on site
  • Logging soil and rock in accordance with current standards
  • Preparing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports
  • Conducting geotechnical analysis and foundation recommendations
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed on site
  • Assisting in project management and delivery
Requirements
  • Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
  • Experience with in a ground investigation or geotechnical consultancy (preferred)
  • Knowledge of soil and rock logging and geotechnical reporting

    Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
