Consultant or Senior Transport Modeller

The Opportunity

Stantec has a well‑established Transport Modelling team across the UK and is seeking an experienced Consultant or Senior Transport Modeller to join our Leeds or Manchester office. Our team works with excellent clients on some of the UK’s most exciting transport projects, delivering client‑focused solutions and contributing to our reputation as one of the leading transport planning consultancies.

• Lead the technical delivery of transport modelling projects, supporting development, calibration, validation and application of Strategic Transport models using SATURN, VISUM or Cube.
• Prepare clear modelling results for reports and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with current transport policy, guidance and best practice.
• Mentorship and support of junior modellers, ensuring high‑quality and consistent outputs.
• Contribute to team development and pursue opportunities for career progression.

• Experienced Consultant or Senior Transport Modeller with strong technical and project delivery skills.
• Proficiency in at least one of SATURN, VISUM or Cube; additional strategic modelling software knowledge is a plus.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and guide junior team members.
