Salary £35‑45k (depending on experience)

• Lead and coordinate Local Packaging Development and Maintenance activities, working closely with Regional Packaging Developers, Team Leaders, Procurement and Mill Packaging Engineers to achieve business objectives around Innovation and Cost Transformation.
• Support the development and implementation of packaging improvement plans and lead the implementation of regional packaging improvement and packaging cost saving projects.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise in multifunction team discussions around equipment and other activities affecting packaging.
• Participate in initiatives that improve consumer satisfaction and lead projects to eliminate or reduce pack design sources of consumer dissatisfaction or complaint.

• Experience as a packaging engineer/technologist implementing new packaging projects, including factory acceptance trials and roll‑out of new carton and flexible designs and finishes.
• Strong leadership and coordination ability with cross‑functional teams.
