Major Energy Onshore is seeking a Mechanical / Hydraulics Engineering Technician for a 3-month temporary contract in Hexham. The role involves assembling test rigs and performing test validation sequences while working closely with a test engineer.
The ideal candidate should have substantial mechanical fitting experience (8-10 years), a strong awareness of hydraulics, electrical, and control systems, and the ability to work to engineering drawings. The position is 5 days a week on site, with an hourly rate of £20–25 depending on qualifications and experience.
