Assistant Civils Design Engineer - Rail
Up to £45,000 per annum

You will be joining a well-established organisation that has their own in-house design function, supporting a close-knit team that operates as an internal consultancy supporting a broad portfolio of rail infrastructure projects across the UK.
The Role- You will be supporting a variety of high-profile rail projects and frameworks across the UK, carrying out civil engineering design (Rail Depots, Stations, Ancillary, Lineside, Bridges, Platforms etc) to support rail systems delivery.
- Assist in and develop the investigation, feasibility study, outline design, detailed design and implementation of civil engineering projects, and improve overall multidisciplinary awareness.
- Assist in the management and monitoring of the budget for projects.
- Awareness of draughting and BIM software and steelwork and reinforced concrete detailing.
- Civil Engineering related degree, qualified to satisfy the current entry requirements for CEng or IEng through ICE or IStruct
E. - Experience in Civil Engineering railway design and or construction.
- Desire to develop existing skills and acquire new technical competence to enhance team capability.
- Salary up to £45,000 per annum
- 25 days holiday + BH
- Matched pension scheme up to 5%
