The role will still be hands on - you MUST have that 'get stuck in' mentality and be technically curious Oversee safety, budget control, scheduling, and compliance . Liaise closely with subcontractors for maintenance of plant / maintenance of equipment Manage contractors, suppliers, and regulatory interactions (COMAH, REACH, waste regulations). Navigate ambiguity and problem-solve on the ground when things dont go exactly to plan.

Your background / what we are looking for Flexible on background - technically curious and passionate about making a difference Any exposure to process industries would be beneficial (chemical, plastics, polymer, oil & gas, petrochemical, pharma, biotech possibly with COMAH / REACH type of regs) Practical knowledge of regulatory frameworks (COMAH, REACH, environmental, safety) would be beneficial but not essential Intellectual agility and problem-solving mindset able to learn fast and adapt on the fly.
