Civil Engineer

Arup’s Civil Engineering team in Leeds is seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute to a wide range of infrastructure projects across the UK. The role involves delivering sustainable, resilient and inclusive civil engineering solutions within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

• Support the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions for diverse infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated and sustainable design solutions.
• Produce technical designs, drawings and reports to a high standard.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders and project teams to develop practical and innovative outcomes.
• Take ownership of defined elements of projects, including checking the quality and accuracy of your work.
• Contribute to the continued development of digital engineering and BIM-led design approaches.

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
• Proficiency with design software such as Civil 3D, Micro Drainage, Info Drainage, AutoCAD or similar packages.
• An interest in digital design, BIM and/or automation within engineering delivery.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to problem solving.
• Progression toward or achievement of professional chartership (ICE or equivalent) would be advantageous.
