Sweco Building Control are the leading Building Control consultancy in England and Wales, providing market‑leading expertise as a Registered Building Control Approver since 1998. We pride ourselves on our quality and technical expertise that underpins our full suite of Building Control services, listening and engaging with our clients to anticipate regulatory issues that will need resolving and working in partnership to deliver successful projects.

• Undertaking plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval.
• Undertaking site visits, preparing site visit reports, witnessing tests (therefore a full, valid driving licence is essential).
• Attending client and design team meetings to give professional advice regarding building control work.
• Be familiar with and use the management systems, including complying with the Quality Management system.
• Operating in accordance with the commercial requirements of the projects (costs and programme).

• A qualified and experienced expert with a commitment to excellence.
• RBI registration with a proven track record within Building Control.
• RICS, CABE, CIOB or similar accreditation.

As the only Building Control body accreditation with an ISO 17020, in relation to impartiality, you’ll work to maintain the highest standards alongside a team of innovators on a variety of projects, with regular training and bite‑size learning opportunities.
