Whatdoes the role involve?
- Undertaking plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval.
- Undertaking site visits, preparing site visit reports, witnessing tests (therefore a full, valid driving licence is essential).
- Attending client and design team meetings to give professional advice regarding building control work.
- Be familiar with and use the management systems, including complying with the Quality Management system.
- Operating in accordance with the commercial requirements of the projects (costs and programme).
- A qualified and experienced expert with a commitment to excellence.
- RBI registration with a proven track record within Building Control.
- RICS, CABE, CIOB or similar accreditation.

As the only Building Control body accreditation with an ISO 17020, in relation to impartiality, you’ll work to maintain the highest standards alongside a team of innovators on a variety of projects, with regular training and bite‑size learning opportunities.
