Are you passionate about reducing the environmental impact of the built environment?

We are working with a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy seeking an Embodied Carbon Consultant to join their growing Sustainability team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects while helping clients achieve ambitious carbon reduction and net zero objectives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering embodied carbon and whole-life carbon assessments across projects within the commercial, residential, healthcare, education and public sectors.

As an Embodied Carbon Consultant, you will work closely with sustainability specialists, engineers, architects and project teams to deliver practical and innovative carbon reduction strategies.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking embodied and whole-life carbon assessments.
• Carrying out lifecycle carbon modelling and analysis.
• Advising clients on carbon reduction opportunities throughout the design and construction process.
• Supporting the delivery of BREEAM and wider sustainability objectives.
• Preparing technical reports and presenting findings to clients and project teams.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to identify low‑carbon solutions.
• Keeping up to date with industry standards, guidance and emerging legislation.

We are keen to hear from candidates who possess:

• Experience undertaking embodied carbon and whole-life carbon assessments.
• Knowledge of RICS Whole Life Carbon Assessment methodology.
• Experience using One Click LCA, eTool or similar carbon modelling software.
• Strong report writing and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• A genuine passion for sustainability and the built environment.

• Competitive salary of £45,000 – £55,000.
