Responsibilities
- Based from Leeds and work onsite 2‑3 days per week, traveling to water company sites across the country with a senior engineer, increasing responsibility over time.
- Deploy specialist measuring equipment onto pipelines; collect data for specialist software used by office engineers to identify concerns or potential issues such as surges of water.
- Assist with data analysis while in the office, applying numerical reasoning skills.
- Perform on‑site tasks such as climbing ladders, descending manholes, tightening loose bolts and drilling.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of water and sewer networks.
- Engineering degree – Civil, Chemical or Mechanical (or equivalent).
- Good numerical reasoning and attention to detail.
- Hydraulic knowledge or experience with related software preferred; training will be provided if not.
- Based within commuting distance of Leeds (Bradford acceptable).
- Comfortable with regular on‑site work.
- Full training will be provided.
