Senior Quantity Surveyor - Leeds

£60,000 - £70,000 plus £7,500 Car Allowance (or Company Car), 10% Bonus, Healthcare and Pension.

Based on site in Leeds, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of a significant section of works, working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance and profitability. The role offers the opportunity to put your own mark on the project and to support and mentor junior surveyors across the commercial team.

• Managing subcontractor and supplier accounts from procurement through to final account
• Preparing valuations, applications for payment and cost reports
• Administering NEC contracts and managing change control processes
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
• Supporting procurement activities and supply chain management
• Producing internal commercial reporting and forecasts
• Mentoring and developing junior commercial team members

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

• Experience with in civil engineering, infrastructure or rail projects
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts
• Currently operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to step up
• Strong commercial, contractual and communication skills

• Salary of £60,000 - £70,000
