An established, multi-disciplinary Consultancy with an excellent reputation across the UK is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join its growing Infrastructure team in Leeds.

Working as part of a highly experienced team, you will be involved in the design and delivery of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments from planning through to construction. This is an excellent opportunity for an Engineer looking to take the next step in their career, gaining exposure to a broad range of projects whilst developing both their technical and project management skills.

The role sits within a growing Property and Infrastructure team and offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced Engineers who will support your ongoing development.

You will contribute to the design of drainage, highways and development infrastructure schemes, including SuDS, surface and foul water drainage, levels, earthworks and external works. The role will involve preparing technical designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, undertaking drainage modelling using Micro Drainage or Info Drainage and supporting projects through feasibility, planning, detailed design and construction stages.

You will work closely with clients, local authorities, LLFAs, water companies and internal multidisciplinary teams, gaining valuable exposure to the full project lifecycle whilst developing your understanding of development infrastructure delivery. There will also be opportunities to support Graduate Engineers and collaborate with teams across transport planning, structural engineering and environmental disciplines.

To be considered, you should have experience within a UK Consultancy environment and a good understanding of highways and drainage design for development projects.

Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Micro Drainage or Info Drainage would be advantageous, alongside knowledge of Section Agreements including S104, S106, S38 and S278. Strong communication skills and the desire to continue developing technically and professionally are essential.
