We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing civil engineering and rail contractor based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a range of structural and rail infrastructure projects across the UK, working within a well-established team delivering high-quality solutions for major clients.

The successful candidate will oversee projects from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of structural and civil engineering projects across the rail sector.
Coordinate project programmes, resources, subcontractors, and client relationships.
Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Monitor project performance, budgets, and commercial objectives.
Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining programme delivery.
Liaise with design teams, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Produce regular progress reports and updates for senior management and clients.

Requirements

Proven experience managing civil engineering, structural, or rail infrastructure projects.
Strong background in structures such as footbridges, piling works, foundations, platforms, or similar rail-related schemes.
Experience working within Network Rail environments.
Previous involvement with Access for All (AFA) projects would be highly advantageous.
Strong organisational, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
Full UK driving licence.

This role will involve national project delivery, with travel and occasional overnight stays expected (typically 1-2 nights per week).
